Cypress Point Marine is subject to rigorous Federal and State food safety regulations as a wholesale food distributor. The Cypress Point Marine distribution facility undergoes regular State and Federal USDA inspections by Government Inspectors.
We are committed to only distributing products that exceed all government grading standards and inspection requirements. Our products are all USDA, USDC and FDA certified, and are inspected by Federal USDA Government Inspectors at the item level and labeled with item-specific identification numbers.
Our team employs a comprehensive product recall program to ensure traceability and retrieval of products in the case of a recall. Our dedicated team of product recall monitors USDA recall alerts daily. Using the Federal Government ID system, Cypress Point Marine is able to immediately trace the location of the recalled products, notify customers, and retrieve recalled items as required by industry guidelines.
Products from general retail grocery stores are not subject to Federal Inspection, but as a wholesale distributor, all Cypress Point Marine products meet the highest standards of inspection to ensure only the highest standard of Food Safety.
Cypress Point Marine is OSHA compliant and a State and Federally inspected facility. Cypress Point Marine conducts monthly safety meetings and trainings with all of its employees emphasizing safe practices with our truck drivers, warehouse, and office employees.
